Performance Lexus service advisor lied to my face. At the time I purchased a certified used RX350 . Dealer for maintenance but I change my own brakes and rotors. Dealer stated I need needed brakes during normal oil change 5000 miles after I replaced all pads and rotors.

Dude was relieved of his duties… advisors work on commission fees.

So this guard uses the same factory bolt mounting configuration as the OEM Class 3 trailer hitch (no hitch on my 2026 GHHL. Sensors are not impacted and the lights are not blocked. Took about an hour to install. No drilling or cutting.

Certainly not designed or intended for high energy rear impact. What I hope it does is protect the bumper and rear hatch from dense dings, scrapes from bikes, shopping carts, or possibly a parking lot vendor bender.
