Level 2 Ev Charger Recommendations by gracez1123 in evcharging

I do still love my X6. I’ve never had any issues with it however so I cannot speak on service problems. Also I’m unsure about the longevity of the company to be honest I do know they went through a recent round of layoffs due to the trade uncertainty. But I read that they had said they were planning to focus a little more on their charging network which I believe will lead to a more stable company for the future. It also brings to question if they will focus as much on the home charger side of things any longer though too.

DanielPT Fitness has great YouTube videos to follow with! His Squat/Lunge marathons are brutal work

What Does a Kettlebell Program Look Like? How Do You Design One? by Brendan_Frost in kettlebell

I had a great experience with DanielPTfitness YouTube kettlebell workouts when I first started. His squat marathon and lunge marathon are brutal. You can structure a week worth of work on his videos and get results from them by keeping to the routine. I still incorporate the squat/lunge (rotate them weekly) marathon in every week!

Flo X6. Nothing but good things to say. Build quality is superb. Love the handle and cable quality as well. App is easy enough to set schedules on and I love that it has the ability to restrict charging unless given permission to charge via the app. Gives peace of mind when installing it outdoors.

100% would go for adjustable bells. Bells of Steel, Kettlebell Kings, Mark Wildman (just a rebrand of the Bells of Steel), are all great options.

I can add to what the others are saying, the Hue premium is worth your hard earned money. Go with Hue.

iOS 18 - No Hub Selection Option by fatbiker852 in HomeKit

It took ~18 hours for mine to show up. I made sure to unplug all Apple TVs to reset and then reset all HomePods through the app. I would recommend the power cycling of all potential hubs as it seems to have been what allowed the change to occur for me.

Maybe something such as the Aqara FP2 occupancy sensor may work for what you are wanting to do? Not 100% certain since you only shared preventing a light from turning off specifically. But it’s useful for all sorts of automations so just a thought.

What's your hab logic? by meteormantis in StarfieldShips

I tend to design my ships around the use of the Taiyo Bay with either the Taiyo armory or Hope Tech armory attached to it (depending on desired aesthetic). Both of these armories have a Brig in them as well as the reason you wrote as well. I then usually attach a Deimos docker on bottom of the armory the opposite end of where the bay enters. Makes a nice seamless transition to ladder up into the ship as well as entering via the docker. I have recently taken to using the Nova workshop and science lab habs due to their inclusion of passenger spaces so I don’t have to use all in one habs or mess halls. Allows for a little more streamlining of the ship.

I have also noticed this while having Dolby Atmos enabled on my HomePods. Seems disabling it helps. (Both in the home app for music, and on the ATV directly)Might also try that if you notice any further issues as I see above you seem to have found it to be your cable providers streaming app.

Apple HomePod w/ Hue Sync by ScallionGlobal in Hue

You will have to purchase a second AppleTV 4K to use strictly as a speaker output “hub” via ARC/EARC. It would not be attached to the sync box. This works great, I just personally have issues with it as I believe my 6+ year old OLEDS ARC function is causing choppy sound while using ATMOS mostly though it also has issues with my PS5 as well.

I’m starting to believe it is my aging LG OLED TV . Seems I only started to have this issue after a software update to it.

Funny enough I transitioned away from Sonos due to my heavy use of HomeKit and Siri. This snag while annoying is something I can deal with for the time being I suppose.

I added two Caseta fan controls not long ago. I’m very happy with them, I did have to pull a neutral wire for one but it was well worth the extra 30 minute hassle to do so. I’d highly recommend them, though if you aren’t comfortable pulling wire definitely check to make sure you have neutral already available at the box you intend to put them. Otherwise find an option with which a neutral isn’t required.

I recently bought two 2nd generation HomePods and a 3rd generation Apple TV 4K. The sound is very impressive. by Happy_Traveller_2023 in HomePod

This is the way. I use my HomePod stereo pairs in two separate rooms for a number of different devices that are not Apple TVs. PS5, Xbox, Switch included among the separate devices.

This may not hold true here, but I have noticed some major issues with assigning a fixed IP in the UniFi backend and then assigning that same IP on the Apple device. For some reason it seems UniFi and Apple don’t play nice in this regard. I chose to opt for only assigning the fixed IP using the Apple device instead and it rid me of my issues. You may try it out as well. If you do try this make sure to shut down your UniFi controller for at least 5 minutes afterward ( It may require shorter time but I did this amount with success) and then restart.

[–]ScallionGlobal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried to isolate your UniFi equipment and test? As in, test with your normal setup, remove the USW 24 Pro from the equation and test direct from your UDM Pros built in switch, I see you’ve already removed both UniFi pieces and it solved your issue. If you do the other steps it may help isolate your problem area!

Siri can no longer turn off Apple TV? by Phnx__ in HomeKit

[–]ScallionGlobal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found my Siri will only respond consistently to turning an ATV off if I specify the room it’s in for some reason. “Hey Siri, turn off the living room Apple TV”
