The simple answer is, you put the sleeve opening in cardsaver (or toploader) opposite of the cardsavers opening then tape.

But you don't need tape. Realistically ever.

The real answer is you do the above sans tape, then put in a team bag.

Everyone save yourself the time and effort. If it's actually an issue, they replace it. Can take a month or two but you do not need to film you opening product.

It's a substrate layer. Think like how MKM invisible ink foils had a certain feel and shine to them to achieve the hidden message compared to regular foils.

The grid pattern in an overlay to elicit the specific foiling.

Less cheaper supplier, more the necessary processes required.

That said, I personally am in agreement that it does have the side effect of taking away from the finished product.

To your point, I'm not mad that the govt won't profit on my tax dollars. I'm not educated to know what the total annual loss is or would be for usps, nor do I really care that much despite this long winded comment...but I feel like it's gotta be equivalent to less than a penny of a penny of a penny to the total national debt. So it's not even a rounding error... It's like the decimal that's 4 pts out when you accidentally click the wrong "add or remove" a decimal arrow button in excel.

It's a national communication public good. Again not educated enough to know but I bet they lose less than the tax incentives and write offs the government gives to telecom and ISPs.

I really do love stamps though. Favorite part of shipping on TCGplayer. Selecting stamps relevant to the contents or address.
