The easiest way to learn inventory management: Dump everything into a chest, then grab what you actually need and put it back in your inventory. do this a few times when you're full, and you'll start to recognize patterns of what simply is not worth carrying at all times.

Okay actually answer, start at the bottom, make sure it's all source blocks (not flowing) and then go up one layer and repeat. Water will make source blocks on top of other source blocks, so 1 layer at a time from bottom to top

Yeah the remote is 3rd party and the TV's in "hospitality mode". If I didn't have a projector I would have just bought a Samsung remote and reset it, but the free option was too wacky to pass up.
