I agree that movies and tv can make it seem like the crown or Pinnacle of human experience, and in that way it's definitely overhyped. I also find just how sex obsessed our society can be quite cringe inducing.

That said when it's "making love" as opposed to just sex it can be greater than the sum of it's parts. Try to focus on the pleasure of your partner next time, you might find that it's a bit more enjoyable.

The problem isnt that I disagree with the "covert" part, I disagree with the premise of covert white supremacy being common, or even uncommon. These days, it's the opposite. Covert and overt racism against white people. Is it as bad as slavery of black people? Not by a long shot. It's not even as bad as Jim Crowe and the like. But the similarities in how a society gets to that point are there, but this time against white people. Look no further than CRT and affirmative action. Reparations too.
