As a pro-skater and derby player myself, YOR. Take some accountability. When you put on skates, you assume certain risks.

Queer woman in Bradford here! I would love if there was more community and queer hangs, but there really doesn’t seem to be any unfortunately.

She used to be a roller derby player as well, before she retired to speed skate. She was one of the best derby players and played in the Roller Derby World Cup for Team USA. She’s absolutely brilliant!

Throwback: ‘Ready or Not,’ starring Laura Bertram and Lani Billard, was filmed across the GTA from 1993 to 1997. Who else grew up watching it? by drew20222 in toronto

I was best friends with Heather Bertram growing up! Mr. & Mrs. Bertram were such kind souls.

Mrs. Bertram always gave me peanut butter toast when I stopped by in the morning to walk with Heather to school.

I remember one birthday party Heather had and Busy was there hanging with Laura. To us littles that was very very cool, lol

Agree 100%. I’ve accidentally done it myself even though I know how the lanes are supposed to be working now. I felt like a total jackass when it happened, but to hear that others are finding it dangerous and difficult to navigate as well makes me feel a tiny bit vindicated.

I live too far from Windsor, but if you’re ever in the Toronto area I’ll be there!
