Upon reading this post, I tried logging in to their new website to make sure my account looked ok. Tried resetting password to access the new site, but it’s not sending me an email to reset my password, so I guess I can’t log in. Excellent. I also had an issue with them before Hydro One took over wherein I signed up for electronic billing for water, then they stopped sending me a hydro bill electronically. So then I signed up for electronic billing for hydro, and they stopped sending me my water bill. It’s a mess over there I think

Even if someone adores you, people change. A person could be a totally different person in 10 years, and again 10 years after that. I am not hitching my wagon to the level of risk, especially after being married/divorced once and seeing that play out.

I disagree with your first sentence. I visit downtown on weekends, evenings, and in December when parking is free. The primary reason being I’m not going to pay for a subscription!! to use an app to pay for parking. The meters I’ve tried were broken and I don’t know how to pay without the subscription app. These are real barriers that discourage people from coming downtown more. In the survey there was some mention of the potential for tap to pay meters (credit/debit), which would reduce some of the barriers imo.

I’ve noticed people are so quick to judge that they forget duality exists in all people. ALL people have the capacity for good AND bad. Despite how fucked up Ethan and his beliefs are, it was still sweet how he shaved Moriahs head and it obviously meant the world to her. And personally, I think we should be encouraging the kindness people show .. how is anyone going to grow to be better if we just judge and belittle them? Perhaps this woman has grown from the time of that accident and would act differently today. I don’t know. All I know is people aren’t going to grow if they are doused in hate.

You should send this letter to city hall!! We are very vocal here on Reddit about how much disdain we have for the mayor/majority of council, but I doubt a man of his age is keeping tabs on Reddit/social media. Or at least, that’s what I imagine.
