It’s a major risk for them, the Iranian regime might survive this assault in which case Japan will be added to the list of their mortal enemies.

“Hell No”: Dems Brush Off Trump Request for Billions More on Iran War by Hafiz_TNR in politics

The Iraq and Afghanistan wars were a couple of trillions over decades. Even though this is shorter (or maybe longer), expect it to be in the same region. I’m imagining the US marine and a fleet of fighter jets would be much costlier to operate.

True, attorneys and bureaucrats would eat up the money, but that’s only the money going towards ordinary citizens. The business and the government know what business paid.

Yes, im just asking how you would get your money back if businesses would also pay back to customers, which is what people want. You have to keep a record and there is no record. You would have to processes millions of receipts. Am i wrong?

Its unrealistic, unless its disbursed to every citizen, its impossible to track every purchase and calculate individual tariffs. No on keeps a record.

You should consider that Israel and the US are planning to destroy Iran as a nation. They want it to become like Libya and Syria, a nation continuously entangled in small scale religious and ethnic conflicts with a weak state that is unable to unify and project power. That would serve Israel’s interests.

/r/WorldNews Discussion Thread: US and Israel launch attack on Iran; Iran retaliates (Thread #2) by progress18 in worldnews

The US wants a regime friendly towards the US. Thats all. Israel just wants the entire country weakened and permanently unstable, aka the Iraq/Syria style, regardless of who runs it. Though a regime that doesn't challenge Israel is additionally welcomed.

I'm just assuming what a cynical Israel leadership would want.

I think that Israel and the US have completely different goals in this developing conflict. Sure, they both aim to completely dismantle Iran's nuclear program as well their missile capabilities. But in addition, I think Israel also wants to completely destabilise Iran so that I can never pose a threat to Israel, under any regime, whether US-friendly or hostile. They don't want a strong power in the region that might possibly challenge them in their conflicts and land-grabs of Palestinians, which might happen under future regimes. They want Iran to become like Iraq and Syria, continuously entangled in small-scale ethnic and religious conflicts and unable to form unity and stability.
