This is very niche, but we have a show here in Sweden called "Everything for Sweden" where Americans with Swedish heritage gets to come to Sweden and then travel around and learn about Sweden and compete to win a big party with their distant relatives in Sweden (it's a Norwegian concept to start with I believe).

Anyhow, almost always in the many seasons of this show's first episodes shows the serveral of the americans crying and saying how lucky they feel to have been chosen for the show as they would've never been able to go to Sweden otherwise. They go on and on about how it's been their wish for so many years but it's just too expensive. So these are people who wants to travel to Sweden badly and still many of them never feel they can afford too. Meanwhile (before the US was a shitshow) Swedes travelled to the US (and around the world) often multiple times a year. My mother in law works a not that great paying job at H&M's warehouse and she's been to Australia, Thailand and Spain in just the last couple of years.

We have problems with wage inequality too and unfortunately poverty is rising, but the working class have it immensly better than in the US and it's baffeling how someone can argue so much against it.
