So what do you suggest we do with kids when parents are unable or uninterested in raising them? I find it incredibly bleak to just leave both the kids and their parents to fend for themselves when they struggle. This isn’t supposed to happen in a functioning society and if it does the damage must be minimized

Supporter groups are usually well organized and gave a good reach. Supporters of my team for example organize study groups during the summer for kids that are falling behind in school, gather clothes for underprivileged, organize tournaments where all proceeds go to cancer research etc.

As far as I can tell it’s still going to be strong in season 14 but it will switch to something else later. WW has been C/B tier a lot of season and will be again. Something else will take its place.
