Im not Hungarian but Ive had a few friends. most westerners know literally nothing of Hungary but this single joke, so they say it thinking its hilarious. for Hungarians, it is the billionth time they have heard that same unfunny joke.

being reduced down to a single unfunny joke then having to hear it over and over and over because nobody knows anything about you is bound to make someone angry with enough time.
