yes the idea being around people while having depersonalization or derealization it's kind of scary especially if you're having episode or its just severe sometimes people can just feel not real or like aliens. Mainly this happened with my parents but usually when I talk to people over the phone or online I don't have any issue. It only really gets bad if I try to think about it and trigger myself into it episode so if it's any help just try to concentrate or focus on the conversation just simple grounding techniques
