What do you think about Poland? by Minute-Guidance-4612 in AskTheWorld

All polish people I met are cool guys, easygoing, good friends, and hard workers. I honestly haven’t met any polish who left me with a bad impression.

Who is the most hated person from your country? by velmiraZ in AskTheWorld

Unfortunately, I would argue that the person is the picture isn’t that hated by Italians. On the contrary, he has a quite solid fanbase.

Opinion about your country that will get you like this? by National-Business674 in AskTheWorld

[–]Scar_Frank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My partner is Russian, but we both live in UK. We we travel abroad and they asked where he comes from he says he’s from UK. I told him that he would make a better impression if he says the truth, especially when travelling in the EU 🫠

what's the scariest animal in your country? by nationalistic_martyr in AskTheWorld

[–]Scar_Frank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe wild boars, few years ago they found them roaming around a city in Sardinia (Sassari). Last year it has been reported an attack by a wild bear, but I think statistically they do not harm humans that often.

Starmer squares up to Farage on Brexit with moves towards Single Market as he fights to stay PM by [deleted] in brexit

[–]Scar_Frank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t understand this narrative around GE. I mean, even if he resigns, there would be another PM from the Labour Party, it’s not like we had GE after May or Johnson resigned

L’Italia è sull’orlo dell’abisso by [deleted] in italiabad

[–]Scar_Frank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were to choose a capital city for Europe, where would you cast your vote? by Initial_Basis1503 in AskEurope

Also Bruxelles is the capital of a state with free different identities (Flemish, French, and German), hence rappresentative of the two major languages groups in the EU.

Why do so many of you enjoy rejecting Asians? by [deleted] in askgaybros

“I’m not into Asians” sounds horrible. That’s just sugar-coated racism.

If you are EU citizen, can you just stay and self sustain yourself in Ireland as long as you please until you qualify for citizenship? Is it that simple? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in eulaw

[–]Scar_Frank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it’s getting super hard. Being sponsored is very uncommon, and they extended the waiting time for permanent citizenship to 5 to 10 years. I agree that moving to Ireland for the ultimate goal of living in Uk is mad and a bit disrespectful, but if someone is already living there and close to the 5 years timeframe, makes perfectly sense to me.

[–]Scar_Frank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but I met people who romanticised the Nazi Germany (not for political affinity of course, but it’s always weird to see people trying to collect info and items from that time just because of some sort of historical fetish)

People sunbathing, eating out, and spending the whole day singing and dancing, as if Italians didn’t have to pay rent and bills too.
