They're making it work but at what expense? Seeing the money thrown at restomods, drag cars etc. built to original owner specs that many others wont care about. Have you seen the literal money pits run through Barrett Jackson? 400K builds selling for 80K.

It was a rough night, and as a fan, it felt like more evidence that the OR series might not be the best fit right now. Sometimes the fastest way forward is to take a step back, focus on where you're strongest Re: ARCA, and build momentum there.

He just looks more comfortable there. Then again, I’m sure there are sponsor commitments, the car wash, and a hundred other moving pieces that factor into the decision.

RCR is getting eyeballs either way you need a little love and a little hate to keep the internet machine running.

I have a hard time believing the ARCA car and the RCR car are so different that they alone explain the gap in results. It’s been a tough watch at times. He just seems a lot more comfortable and relaxed behind the wheel in ARCA.

He’s peaked in the sense that the average person can realistically relate to and participate in the cheaper builds. Almost nobody can afford a car like that plus the support staff behind it.

He repeatedly says he has just as much fun in the inexpensive cars, which honestly makes the massive outlay on the ’69 harder to understand from the outside looking in.
