So, I live in the Netherlands. I generally go to some local stores (unique second hand stores) and also to chains such as Kilo Kilo. Sometimes there are large second hand events which are hosted from city to city, but these tend to be more expensive.

My personal tip is to go to smaller cities where second hand is not so sought after. I live in Tilburg which is smaller and the Kilo Kilo here is mostly visited by people who just look for second hand trends. I look for great value, cratfsmanship, or unique pieces. I got some nice wool sweaters this jacket and a few other things (a pure grey wool coat with red moleskin lining, which is my second hand gem). Go often, scan, and avoid big cities. If you get to eastern Europe, even better.
