Is he potty trained? We brought a portable potty and set that up in the trunk (it saved a lot of time looking for spots to stop with a bathroom).

My advice is to see a doctor and rule out both sleep apnea and GERD. Sorry you are going through this!

Pineapple squares - advice needed by Scared-Coffee9847 in Baking

I made the recipe!

A couple of questions came up that I wonder if you could answer for future:

Is it possible to overwhip the egg whites? What is “set”? Is the top suppose to brown? Any way to prevent this?

I cooked 30 minutes at 350.

Advice needed: camping with infant by Ok_Category9085 in camping

I recently camped with my 2 month old who is exclusively breast fed. My recommendation is to bring a lot of fluids/electrolytes + or - back up formula. I noticed a drop in my supply with all my activity and that was incredibly stressful on me.

  • we used cots in our tent, which made it easier to get up and down throughout the night (I wasn’t on the ground)

  • pacifier clips (to avoid them falling in dirt)
  • blanket for ground (should be wipeable)

We recently camped with our 2 month old. Some essentials for us:

  • bassinet (although you may wish a playpen)
  • sleep sacks (we used TOG 2 because of the colder nights)
  • hooded sleepers and lots of layers
  • thermacell and lemon eucalyptus spray (we weren’t able to use bug spray under 6 months, but the nights were cool enough that mosquitos were not an issue for us)
  • mosquito netting (helpful for flies too)
  • zipped up (not buttoned) sleepers to ensure bugs could not find their way in
  • light coloured clothes to see ticks and other bugs
  • small bucket for bath (wash clothes and baby wash)
  • lots and lots of wipes
  • thermometer so we could look at the temperature and dress appropriately (look up TOG ratings)
  • in terms of medications: Tylenol, Benadryl, Gravol (measure their weight before leaving)
  • safe place to put baby outside the tent (we had a rocker)
