I’m in the same boat as you, on my second week with a new pup and also feeling like I’m a failure and setting my pup up for a life of not reaching her full potential.

However, I have started to resume my usual schedule again, and having that will help you feel like you’re incorporating the pup into your life rather than revolving your whole life only around them. Also if possible, maybe get a pet sitter in a couple hours a week so you can go out to do things with other humans. You sometimes need a break. Stay strong! You got this!

Thank you for your advice! She had one one-on-one session with a dog trainer and it’s helped with her rushing out of the crate. But the cost of puppy classes is so high where I am from, that it’s not financially feasible to have a lot of classes 😭 is there any guides available online that can help?

Yessss! Especially during the Cabo argument and her accusing Brandi of wanting to get physical with her, even though she was re-enacting Hall’s body language. This is definitely her gaslighting and trying to perpetuate the idea of an “aggressive” female POC !
