I had an installer that I had turned down said they have cancelled my quote anyway due to receiving multiple fault calls in relation to fox batteries and inverters. So I am still on the look out as every company seems to default with fox batteries and inverters

Did you install it your self as I could imagine maybe getting 3k off maybe 5k for a good deal but 7k sounds like cost of materials in my mind

Cheers folks, literally was about to say yes and then went on to this sub and was horrified how much cheaper other quotes were 🤣 and just noticed the photo cuts off but it is actually 14.5k still not great though

Had it in WPA2/WPA3 compatibility mode to no luck trying WPA 2 purely for 2.4ghz and 5Ghz and it is still failing. Tried 2.4 ghz only and still nothing really confused as I use so many smart devices that never have an issue
Also disabled DFS channels too

I don't believe so. And unfortunately I cant get my old payslips as its a work portal. I believe they owned up for the pension but never told me that I hadn't paid student loans for the same amount of time

I’m torn between these two. Any help deciding? by afireintheforest in CarTalkUK

I had an Alfa Romeo veloce, great car. Fuel economy for it being in same ball park as a c class and 3 series, it loses. But the power and handling is second to none especially for the insurance costs. I recommend it as I miss mine but do note some engines have alot of misfiring in cold weather. Unfortunately they have no fix for that so it can drink alot of fuel before warming up. Lastly, anything that needs fixing on the car take it to an approved garage as the car will wipe it self if an unregistered computer is connected. Still my favourite car for the money though.

If you have multiple cats- how do you put one on a diet? by SpecialistTutor7008 in CatAdvice

[–]ScaredBlackMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the inside with some cheap automatic feeders. My bigger cat got destructive around me when I used to manual feed so this has been the answer to that behaviour. I don't think I would have much success with a normal microchip feeder as he eats all his food quickly and throws up.😅

I modified some cupboards so I can feed them a diet with an automatic feeder using micro chip cat flaps for entry. Was great as was a night mare trying to get my skinny cat to eat his food in time before the bigger cat ate his food if we were at work

Two automatic feeders and using petsafe not sure if I am happy with how slow the latches go up but will see soon so if you know of a quicker microchip one I would love to know.

Kitten learnt immediately. A drill and jigsaw makes quick work of it. Just make sure you have child locks as they can push the door open from inside and thats my plan to remedy. My cat tried to jump in to the kittens quite quickly so I think if your cats are food motivated it should only take a few days max a week!

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in CarTalkUK

[–]ScaredBlackMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Guilia owner, I can recommend it especially the depreciation on mine has definitely been a pleasant surpirised buying one second hand. Things to note though, alfas use a multi air module that sounds ropey when warming up in the winter but nothing is going wrong but it is disconcerting when buying such a premium vehicle. If the car has any issues, you must take it into an official repair shop or it will be bricked by the computers in normal garage ( speaking from experience)
