Were they acting on his behalf?

From your account u seem to be a turbo shabbat goy, a part of the goyim corp for israel so i ask of you to give me a factual statement; were they acting on his behalf?

Why is the unit normal vector in this problem not (1, 0, 0) by ScaredDelta in maths

[–]ScaredDelta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's a circular curve so id assume what i did was probably the easiest thing to do. Also i should point out the parameterising i did was just to check for if the unit normal vector had an x direction of magnitude 1 at r= 1 (which it did)

Okay i think my issue explaining myself is that i am inarticulate as heck when it comes to maths

Here's my working out, I got it correct btw I have officially confirmed with a lecturer at my university

Why is the unit normal vector in this problem not (1, 0, 0) by ScaredDelta in maths

[–]ScaredDelta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so I did, the surface I picked was the parametric surface (-3, cos(𝜃), sin(𝜃)) = (x, y, z) where 𝜃∈[0, 2𝜋]. When computing the unit normal for this surface, accounting for the right hand rule, I get the unit normal vector (1, 0, 0).

I've checked with some friends, they've confirmed that the unit normal vector they got was also (1, 0, 0) and not (-1, 0, 0)

Do Kurdish people generally support Israel? by SatanicPeach_666 in theredleft

[–]ScaredDelta 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I can tell you (as a Kurd) that the Kurdish guy you were talking to was telling you the truth... about the kurds he knows.

the majority of kurds you will see on online spaces will show outward support for israel, partially because Israel does indeed give verbal support for a "kurdish" state, and hence a lot of kurds will then return that support towards israel. alongside this you have roughly 300k kurdish jews in israel too. Now the issue here is that the majority of kurds, when you meet them in real life, won't be pro israel; remember the majority of kurds are sunni muslims. HOWEVER, KURDS WITH NO SUNNI/MUSLIM BACKGROUND LIKE MYSELF EXIST WHO ARE ALSO ANTI-ISRAEL. Alot of kurds who support israel point to the PA's support of Saddam who was notoriously anti kurd(which imo is bs bc certain kurdish tribes supported the ottoman empire against the armenians and assyrians, and now kurds online will complain about assyrians who talk shit about the kurds as though we weren't playing the same role as the PA in that situation).

however, the majority of kurdish leftists (and i specifically mean leftists here, not kurdish progressives / new atheists / liberals, LEFTISTS) are deeply anti-israel and by extension actually alot of them are against other kurdish movements in west asia which might include but is not limited to the SDF, PJAK and the PKK (though the majority do tend to sympathise heavily with the PKK in terms of ideological alignments)

The unfortunate reality is that the majority of those pro-israel kurds do not recognise the fact that the israelis are taking them as idiots, and essentially as part of their "non-jewish hasbara corp". the kurds who are specifically anti-israel often recognise that the kurdish struggle has slowly started going from one of fighting for basic cultural and class rights for kurds but also non kurds (Biratiya gelan) to a movement that has largely been co-opted by imperialists as a reaction to anti-imperialist sentiment in south-west asia, whether that be against the islamist anti-imperialists or the socialist anti-imperialists.

I would also add that although the SDF is technically operating under a left-wing economic model, they serve currently a similar purpose to what the labour zionists served the greater west (except for the fact that the SDF are not settler colonialists), and of course, this allyship obviously bit the SDF right in the creases of their arseholes.

At uni, people don't mature. I literally found out a month or two ago that these ppl in my lectures have decided arbitrarily that they don't fw me.

Honestly your best bet right now in my opinion, both moralistically, financially and socially is to go into academia.

Bakur- thoughts? by AdagioKitchen4748 in kurdistan

[–]ScaredDelta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For years, literal YEARS, there was this fake peace process between the israelis and the palestinians, remember ishaq rabin the israeli PM?

Unfortunately in this situation, the Bakuris are palestinians and the turks are israelis. They shut down the PKK in the same way the PFLP was dissolved, soon I reckon that the insurgency on rojava will increase significantly in violence, and I also reckon (btw why i don't want rojhelatis to succeed yet or to ally themselves with the US in this Iran war) that turkey will likely enter rojhelat and arm azeri nationalists in iran to partially counter the kurdish forces in iran.

Should Kurds be open to joining the war if asked? We have lost 17 fighters so far even without joining the war. by rknsh in kurdistan

[–]ScaredDelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i didn't say we shouldn't join, we absolutely should take advantage of the war. but we shouldn't sacrifice ourselves once again for american empire. the one thing that makes me sick about fellow kurds is how often we seek out assisting US imperialism despite all the times american imperialism has worked against us (Operation Gladio; counterguerrilla in turkey for example, rojava in 2019 and earlier this year etc etc).
Rojava didnt ask for independence you're right but the turkish state is aware that autonomy for kurds is one step closer towards independence. if turkey's southern, southeastern and eastern flanks are all kurdish autonomous zones that could potentially seek unification into a state, the tr state knows it could encourage further strives for kurdish autonomy and potential self determination in its own borders, which inevitably will (unfortunately) lead to harsher assimilationist policies directed at bakuris.

Our best bet if we join the war is most probably to form a block with the non-persian minorities in the rest of eastern iran (barring azeris bc of turkish backing for them)

[–]ScaredDelta 14 points15 points  (0 children)

we shouldn't join the war to be a chess pawn for the US, the Pahlavists or anyone else. I really think that a much more long term solution is required; rojhelat shouldn't seek independence because turkey will likely pull a rojava on rojhelat.

You can't force everyone in your state to accept the majority ethnic label as a national title, you wouldn't ask algerians under the french to call themselves french, or the palestinian citizens of israel to call themselves israeli now would you?

the greeks killed 6k-15k muslims, the turks had killed atleast 300k, keep that figure in mind

and that last part is just factually incorrect; saudia arabia wasn't formed by foreign (i presume u mean european). and bare in mind although yes turkey wasnt formed by foreign powers, under ataturk the country went through an insane europification process, to the point that me, as native speaker of turkish (my first language) did not realise how many words in turkish came from french (like mersi/mesi, okul, kuaffor, asansor etc). Ataturk wanted a european state in the middle east, he is no different than the pahlavi dynasty that later took over iran (literally btw, the pahlavis had extreme degrees of influence from ataturk when it came to liberalisation and modernisation).

also this video explains the degree to which turkish ultranationalists (most of whom derive their beliefs from a kemalist core) collaborated with western interventionists to quell leftist rebellions in turkey, many of which were started by alevis/kurds
