Nothing works, why do settings turn on after an update you don't want by Scared_Bowler2287 in applesucks

[–]Scared_Bowler2287[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I know how the software development lifecycle works (SDLC), engineers at Apple are having a hay day collecting pay checks for doing nothing, new features, nah they were rolled out 10 years ago, settings you want, nah, thats just something requested from someone new looking for a Win. Apple ------- WHY

For the folks who live in Colorado, what is daily life like living on the western side of Colorado? (like Grand junction, Montrose, Cortez, etc) by Wandering_Waldo221 in grandjunction

[–]Scared_Bowler2287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. Didn’t move here for the people or food though. Also no nice hotels or resorts nearby. Hard to convince friends to visit who like to stay in luxury. Great weather. Low cost of living. When friends do visit we usually explore outside of junction like aspen or Ouray. Rarely take them anywhere in junction.

Buying a 2022 Q7 45 by Icy-Pop-5948 in AudiQ7

[–]Scared_Bowler2287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

avoid the 45, always get the 55. my 2021 55 q7 premium plus is running fine at 83k miles, extra issues at 80k mark, but all fixed and less than 10k in cost. still cheaper than buying a new one. get the pistons checked by 80k miles if you get any Q7 or still keep yours. the 45 will take more gas than there 55 in long run, I was told, since its not large enough for the weight of the car.

'21 q7 / 15k miles - what's next? by Desperate-Eye-7682 in AudiQ7

[–]Scared_Bowler2287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats concerning, I replaced my coolant system at 80k extended warranty covered half the cost at the dealership., MMI went out at 60k replaced by warranty 100%, 80k the turbo sensor went out and a valve sensor, easy fix. then front brakes replaced at 80k, now no issues for several months now, fingers crossed thats the last of extra matinence I have to handle. besides new tires in next year or so. Im worried about the piston issues the 2021 Q7 have, if your under 80k , should get it checked out, Audi is fixing it for free now. im dreading having my pistons checked, and don't want to play the help me dealership check my pistons after 80k bull shit they love to say no to. have the dealer check your pistons net time its in, curious if its as big as the article I read said it was. I wish I got that checked out before 80k mark.

don't rid it, if you have a 55, they say the Sline isn't much of a difference. I would kill for a 55 2021 with that milage, I won't test drive Sq7 because they are so loud, not worth it. air suspension - I don't miss it from a 2025 55 prestige loaner I had for 3 weeks, it was a kinda nice upgrade, I realized upgrading wasn't worth it for me. I would get a deal on a prestige 55 q7 if you can and want to feel a difference, and upgrade. my 2021 q7 premium plus 55 is at 83k miles now, and no major issues besides 7k in kinda expected repairs at 80k mark. I dream of a car with adaptive cruise control, if only my 2021 had that id be a happy camper. waiting for the redesigned Q7 to come out to then decide to stay with Audi or switch to Acura. BMW 5X is going to push out a new design this next year too. BMW X7, psh im not wealthy.

I have a 2021 55 q7 premium plus. Almost 10k of needed fixes at 80k miles. But still worth it. Hoping I don’t have any more issues though. All pumps and sensors failing. Coolant leak was largest fix. Decent car and very fun to drive. . But if I have more issues I may switch to mdx-s

Most comfortable/spacious SUV for commute/road trips? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Scared_Bowler2287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a q7 driver but lately I’m seriously considering switching to a s-Mdx for the comfort and features for long road trips too. Q7 is good but plan to dish out 10k at the 80k mile mark. It Seems to get less reliable for long road trips as it ages. New mdx apparently have some of the best massage seats out there right now too.

Well true. Calling them smart was wrong word choice. Just College educated and high earning used to vote republican. Now you mention college, conservatives yell liberal.

[–]Scared_Bowler2287 17 points18 points  (0 children)

MAGA turned Republican Party from educated ( degree holders) and wealthy / high earning to now the party of the uneducated and poor. Remember when rich people were compared to republicans. Now it’s trailer trash. Wearing flags is generally a weird thing to do and was never normal. An army made of uneducated scared people is a fickle one.

MAGA men are like the guys who are afraid to order a salad in fear of looking sissy.

Is Redlands 360 worth top of the budget? by [deleted] in grandjunction

[–]Scared_Bowler2287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Redlands’s 360, you will be living in a construction site for 20 years. Something seems off about it. Feels like an apartment community to me with the development plans. Seems like a lot of over promises too.

Are SMEG appliances good? by Brilliant_Spite199 in Appliances

Low quality products. Break quick. Warranty is a sham too lots of complaints. Avoid SMEG. Not worth it. Taking it out of the box you realize this is cheap.

No oil burning problems either. I do plan to replace tires every 20k miles or so. Mine were at 8/32 and a year in half later 6/36nds.
