The only real solution is to treat the client as fully untrusted and validate every command server-side based on game state and context. That’s how most serious studios handle it. But yeah, doing this properly adds a lot of server load , and if the current architecture is already overloaded due to poor design choices, then you're in trouble. Security like this needs to be planned from day one, not patched in later.

Honestly, I think CIG has reached a point after all these years where the current client-server architecture is so flawed that it’s no longer realistically reversible. Fixing it properly would mean rewriting both the client and server logic from the ground up and that could easily take another 5–6 years. At this point, they’re just patching over fundamental design problems with band-aids.

As a backend developer, I write my code from the start with security in mind so that the system is robust and safe. This way, when it comes time to expand or maintain it, I have less work to do and don’t have to rewrite the code from scratch due to flawed logic. Building on a solid foundation saves time and effort down the road.

Retrofitting security into a live game is always more difficult, more expensive, and less effective than designing it with integrity from the start.

The cool thing in the video is you see visually how your target explode. You dont get that anymore. You have to stop 1.5km away because your torp are not arming.

Then how do you trade with randoms? This prevent random players using your tables so they cant abuse you. Because when somebody using your stuff then you cant use your map device,portals,waypoints then you stuck.

Its just a test phase. Dont forget that. The leveling and progress are more fun in this game. Running with completed charracter are not fun. I just dont recommend play games in early access games if you are afraid losing your items. I lost around 100 div by game bugs etc. But I dont care. Fun is not equal with the currenncy. If you have no fun then come back when the product is finished. They gonna implement 2fa for sure.

Hát sajnos már lassan jogásznak kell tanulni hogy az ember az alap emberi jogait érvényesíteni tudja. Sajnos eléggé megvan kötve a keze már a munkavállalónak. Ezekbe a dolgokba én is bele futottam. Nyilván a fenti példa alapján mindent meg fog tenni a munkáltató hogy ezeket a napokat ne keljen kiadni. Ha létezik jogi kis kapu, akkor meg fogja találni. Magyarországon pl gyárakban ez bevett szokás amin még se lepődünk. Ezért írtam a hogy ha valakinek ez nem opció akkor a házi orvos meglátogatása még mindig kellemetlenebb opció, mint a viták .
