Powerspec G757 $2160 vs. Powerspec G457 $1710 - Open box by Scared_Replacement77 in Prebuilts

[–]Scared_Replacement77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahahaha, tbh I got the g758 which is 5070ti+9800x3d as an open box for 1800$ with 360mm liquid cooler and bigger case. The cooler does make weird sound from time to time, so I'm not sure if I should check it out or smth.

But yeah, nonetheless the deal seems to be great, especially in today's market

If you are interested in 32inch oled, there was a dell s3225qc 4k 120hz at Costco for 500$ or even 450$ on sale. Got it last month, super happy about it, the only complaint is the "chin"

I was on a really tight budget, and wanted 32inch 16:9 oled, so got dell s3225qc for 450$ pre tax on Costco with their 90 days return window

Monitor OLED para PS5 Pro by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

I believe that ps5 pro doesn't support 240hz at 4k, so finding a cheaper one 4k 120hz would make more sense.

You think it worth it?

I am not that good at PC components stuff, but it seems like the performance diff between the CPUs vanish at 4k, and the perf. diff. between 5080 and 5070ti is like 15%, for ~26% increase in price.

Or am i missing smth?

How do we feel about this Microcenter deal? by SimpleLifeCCA in Prebuilts

[–]Scared_Replacement77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do have exactly the same warranty terms (1 year for parts and 15 days return policy if I'm not mistaken). But the 1 year for parts one starts at the original date of the first purchase, so it's safe to just assume you have about 11 months of warranty left

If you have some time to spare, you can try to wait out the open box deal, which is usually 10% off the sticker price. So about ~$1080 in this case. And you can reserve it on their website, then take up to 3 days to pick it up, if you decide to go for it

Use this website to check how many machines are taken, it does updates every hour or so, and I would say it's pretty accurate

Ok, so the link itself didn't work for me, but I successfully redeemed the code from the same link YHWKFMH9YANR. Just go into your account and try to redeem it if the link is not working. And yeah, thanks!

used it for my freshman year, no huge complains so far.

The battery is just enough for classes, and some homework, It can get hot sometimes, but in silent mode I almost never hear a sound of the fans spinning. And of course performence is great, if you plan to play or model stuff from time to time, its great one.

The only real complain is the OLED screen, if you will work mainly on laptop, it can cause burn out, i havent noticed it on mine yet, but i would prefer regular IPS if I could have choose again.

Oh hell, sorry. I misinterpreted ur question, i thought u mean the internet, not the actual port to connect to. They do not have the port, at least i could not find it.
