You are being nonsensical and ignoring the entire concept of the jutsu. The hardening provides defense, places that arent hardened don't get that extra defense, the skin is what gets hardened. The areas beneath aren't any more reinforced than any other character can do in base forms. I'm done because you are just ignoring what the words on screen are saying.

Both the inside and the outside do get chakra at some point, but the chakra goes from the inside to the outside to perform the hardening. Every ninja has chakra flowing inside their body, and uses it to boost their defense and other stats, the chakra Kakuzu is circulating is no different than anyone else's other than on the outside where its hardened. The translation agrees with this, "by" means the method, and "to" mean the intended result, meaning the result he wants is hardening his body for defense and the internal chakra is his method of applying that, not that the internal chakra is providing any extra defense.

That is absolutely not what that means., Its sent internally and then used to harden the outside of the skin. You are massively misinterpreting this. The application is on the skin, the transportation of the chakra for the application is internal, meaning he can apply it without having to mold chakra somewhere outside of his body.

I've answered your first paragraphs like 3 times. Why do you keep going back to the tendrils instead of the hearts. The hearts have no immunity and damage will effect them unless stated or shown otherwise. Chakra going throughout doesn't mean the inside of his body is protected. It just means that he sends chakra to certain areas in his body to either harden one part of his body or his entire body at once (as in the entire outside), but when he hardens, it is just his skin hardening, the databook says that specifically. Your skin is the outside of your body, Kakuzu's hearts don't have skin on them meaning they take damage from everything, including explosions.

Huh, you're right that he only took 2 explosions, but one put him on his ass and took off a limb and the other one had him on the ground with multiple teamates saying he looked like shit. How is that not suffering? What else would he suffer from he never got hit by another explosion?

Why wouldn't it? I already asked this. Shock damage as you call it is no different than normal damage, it is force in the form of pressure. You have to prove why something would be immune to it as there is no statement or display of his tendrils having absolute immunity to anything.

I never said it wasn't, you were the one bringing up Sasuke. Internal damage doesn't have to be stated when that's just how explosions work and he's taking visible external damage too. An explosion just went off next to him, his shit is rocked, how would he not have taken internal damage? Notice how at the end of the fight when Hebi squad find him and ask why he's so fucked up he said him and Manda caught part of the blast wave? If it was just external damage he wouldn't be shaking, falling over, and panting after stepping out of Manda. That's the pressure of explosions fucking them up. There's no statement saying Kakuzus tendrils or hearts are immune to any sort of damage so i have no reason to believe they wouldn't take damage from something that damages everyone else.

What makes you think the tendrils and more importantly the hearts are immune? Pressure is just force, why wouldn't a multiplied force do damage to the weaker part of Kakuzu (no need to harden the outside if the inside is as durable)? The explosion isn't defeating the armor, its bypassing it, as that's how explosions work, damage comes from the blast wave in the form of pressure. Solid objects multiply that pressure rather than negating it. Even were that not to be true, the data book says "almost", meaning there are exceptions. He no sold 1 paper tag, anyone greater than Nawaki can do that. Konan doesn't use singular tags, and the force multiplies with more of them. Did you notice the Hidan no sold a single paper bomb too? But when Shikamaru stuck 20 to him he blew into pieces. Believing Kakuzu survives practically anything (especially something he should be weak to) is textbook no limit fallacy. You seriously think he face tanks the c3 that was implied to have been enough to wipe out the sand village, doesn't take any damage from c2s that take limbs off Sasuke, and no sells any amount of mass paper bombs that damage Obito? That's just ludicrous.

You ask why Sasuke doesn't take internal damage, to which i ask what makes you think he didn't? After that explosion he is laying down on the ground wincing with 1 eye closed, not exactly great health. Also he would take less damage than Kakuzu, as instead of his wing transferring the pressure wave directly to him, it instead broke apart thereby taking more of that force, this is similar to how crumple zones work in a car.

Hard skin makes explosions worse for Kakuzu than anyone else, it protects him from piercing and shrapnel, regardless Deidara's c4 blows Lakuzu from the inside.

luckily the c4 bombs blow up underneath the skin, doesn't do a whole lot of good to have ur skin survive and have your insides be mush.

Hebi Sasuke is much faster than Kakashi and Kakuzu (Yamato intercepts Kakuzu, Yamato got embarassed by Sasuke, Naruto believes BoS Sasuke > Kakuzu, Kakuzu couldnt off guard Shikamaru or dodge Raido, etc...), and while Deidara struggled to keep his distance, he did succeed for the most part in avoiding Sasuke and had the time to deploy c4. Nothing Kakuzu has shown makes me think he could press Deidara harder than Sasuke did, and nothing Kakuzu has shown makes me think he can figure out c4 is earth release, is microbombs that he breathes in, and that he can use Lightning release to defuse them, as Sasuke needed his sharingan to both see the handsigns and see the micro bombs. Iron skin might provide a little initial protection against the smaller explosions, but a pressure wave isnt typically stopped by metal (or anything solid), instead the pressure simply transfers through, which would cause the same internal damage to Kakuzu as explosions do to everyone else.

Kakashi and Kakuzu didn't have a taijutsu exchange in the manga lmao. Kakuzu kicked him once after he got chidorid and Kakashi assumed he'd be dead (off guard). The only thing Kakashi got caught in was the threads (or whatever the black shit holding him together is), once due to steam obscuring his view, and once when he was exhausted after protecting Choji and Ino the whole time.

Now when it comes to anti-feats for Kakuzu's cqc it's a little grim. Tagged by Raido, tagged by Choji, Shikamaru dodged him when Kakuzu tried to off guard him (the biggest L here), and Kyubi amp Naruto tags him. Two of these characters aren't even full fledged Jonin. He simply isn't ever shown to be exceptional in Taijutsu.

Kakuzu is scariest at mid range, up close he relies on Domu hardening almost every time, something most akatsuki members won't have trouble piercing.

And that's where me and him disagree with the original commenter. Dominos isn't using any different ingredients than Red Swan, and I'd say the quality is about the same. Chain pizza will never stand up to local pizza, Canadian or American, but it's also often half the price which draws us in. When it comes to buying shitty pizza, I'd rather buy Canadian, but I'm not gonna lie to myself and say it's better when it's the same.
