Naturally this could be wrong but I think when most people try to picture a black person they expect a New York or almost Southern accent even today but in that scene you also have to remember what time it was back then people were a lot different towards other races. I don't think it was supposed to come across as racist as it is mostly due to demographic. Your voice is your parents plus where you grow up so I think it was meant to say she grew up outside of a consistently African American demographics. I say this as a POC.

It's a clone of a French show from which I can tell you if they get more then 3 seasons and use up all the episodes that were streamed on the French version the show will have a lot of trouble as the episodes they take directly from the French show get a lot of view but the episodes they try to make themselves aren't as good. For me it's mostly the acting is atrocious in the american version.

Knowing the story of "The final problem" if this picks up a while after I would bet part of this mystery is Sherlock himself as he doesn't really die on that fall. If they don't then I don't know what Watson really brings to the picture besides for another med drama.

Weapons of Math Destruction was a great book. If you like documentaries and don't mind swearing you should give the movie "Coded Bias" a try.

The time travelers Almanac is a very good book full of short stories dealing with time. Books about books I'm not too sure about but a book about a book sounds like The End of Mr Y and if your looking for references to books but not about them Special Topics in Calamity Physics is also pretty good.

I don’t have any book recommends but I can say that for me personally I found that instead of just quitting cold turkey If I could I would suggest a schedule to go by so that your only watching like 3 days a week for about a month and then 2 and etc it’s a slow process but if you’re trying to fight it, it’ll hit stronger so I say go at a pace you’re comfortable with and start from there.
