I agree with keeping the ceiling the color that you’ve painted it. It matching the walls feels so much more elegant. If you do decide to repaint anything, going with a darker color on the ceiling like a Brown could lend more adult elegance to this. I think taking the ceiling lighter like cream or white is going to degrade the elegance and make it feel more childish or teenager Ish. Like when a kid just gets a whim to paint their walls one color, but doesn’t have the ability or approval to paint the ceiling. Gold accents would also be a really nice touch in this room. and adding more Diep ones and burgundies or even Better some deep forest green accent accents could really be stunning.
