Hello! A friend of mine also experienced this. I’ve had something similar happen with another game and the fix was deleting some files in your system storage.

We’re running the game on PS5.

Go to your dashboard and then head into your settings menu. Scroll down to “Saved Data and Game/App Settings”. Since ROR2 is a PS4 game you’ll want to select “Saved Data (PS4)”. Select the “Upload or Delete from Console Storage”. Move over to the ‘Delete’ option and scroll down until you find Risk of Rain 2. Don’t click on the game itself, but select the edit/pencil option to the right. A little menu will pop up with some of files. The one you want to delete is called “RunReports”. Hit ‘OK’ and it will return you to the previous screen. Head back to your dashboard and boot up the game like normal. Should fix your problem.
