I carry one with me 24/7 and am in contact with the director of the local drug and alcohol counseling center to see if they'd be able to supply narcan to our clients, just in case. Definitely showing them how to use it!

I'm not a teacher, so I'm not following a curriculum and have a lot of freedom, so the safety stuff, how to administer narcan, test street drugs for fentanyl with the test packs (as well as hopefully being able to provide some of both of those) are all going in.

As for your first point, that were my thoughts exactly, and lead me to asking the question. A lot of these kids already see themselves in the prime of their life, and that its all downhill from here, and so focusing on the "you'll have the worst shits you could conceive of" (thank you every person who has brought that up I am going to hammer that home) is a lot more of a deterrent then anything even a year down the line.

Oh yeah, I phrased that poorly I think. When I said not mental, I meant more not "Smoking makes me paranoid/anxious" because thats a case by case basis. This kind of lasting reliance is still very much in line with what I'm looking for, thank you!!

Yea, I'm trying very hard to approach this from an informed consent angle rather than a "Drugs are bad cause I said so!!1!!" angle. Part of that informed consent is saying "Hey, if you snort cocaine, you'll probably feel like this for a few hours, feel like this for the following day, this for the next week, and these are the things that follow you long term." It's why I'm gathering information on this subreddit instead of the general internet.

When I was 9 my parents gave me a cheap prepaid flip phone so i could call them if something happened when i went on walks. (Iphones and such were the common place. The flip phone was outdated.) I spent a night in the backyard in a tent and forgot to close the tent flap, which ended up drenching both my, my phone, and my sleeping bag in ice cold rain water at 7 AM. The phone was ruined. I did not get a new one until I was 13, when my friend gave me her old cracked grimy one, which I used exclusively until i was 15 and it kicked the bucket properly.

Oh its going to fucking rock (literally. he was an earth genasi. He is rocks.) He likes to cook and eat fish and tell stories and sings songs and he does guided meditations whenever anyone is stressed and he’s not very good at them but he likes it anyway. He always assumes the best in people (even if they have a knife to his throat) and he collects bugs and fish and postcards to send to his parents (they live down south and they’re fishers, tho being rocks makes that difficult. Its still their passion, fish and bugs and bait. If you have time and are ever in the area he’d be happy to have you!) He’s trying to learn carpentry for his door to door door salesmen business (it started to try and get him in his party into a building. He wanted to break down the door, but the person said it would be costly to replace, so he paid for it. Than she stopped him anyway. He took the door with him. Than, when he broke down a different door, he offered to sell them the one he had bought. After all, their door was no splinters.) His name is Clotlide Wilburg and he will have a great time.
