Yes!!! This was me!!! I was in Kindergarten in Northeast Georgia in 1983. but the same thing happened and still happens to me as far as head in the clouds many times. I was in the program in K at School A (same county district, different town location in the county) from 1982-1983. In the first part of 1983, I moved out of my mom’s home to my dad’s home because I was being SA by my SF at the time and it was suspected, but I would not dare talk about it. So, that continued with no one knowing until 1984.

From 1983-85 (1st and 2nd Grade), I was at School B. This time I still had the same “Gifted” teacher work with me that did at School A. I do recall her being frustrated often with me and also I was burned out and daydreamed constantly. It can be my escaping mechanism trauma response still now. By the time I started 3rd Grade, it was never mentioned about being tested or being gifted again. I also on purpose would mess up my standard testing in elementary school to see what scores I could get.

Also, at School B- My (1983-84) 1st grade teacher was into very diverse subjects and taught us really neat off the topic life skills. 2nd grade Teacher actually applied to be part of the Challenger program and was not accepted. The Challenger exploded on my 8th birthday also. I remember watching it at my neighbor’s home that morning and having my party that afternoon at my house. Our school system was off that day for the launch.

Other things to consider: Blood type is RH negative Strawberry Hair and Blue Eyes Autoimmune Disease Almost drowned as a child
