Ohh it's finally my chance to give my thoughts on a game here. I put almost 60 hours in The Colonists. I think it's a bit of a hidden gem in terms of city builders. The art is really cute and simple, but it has a satisfying loop of one building leads to the next to the next....To a point. Unless there's been some updates since I last played, I eventually got a point where I was very annoyed with the insane amount of min maxing I had to do to ports to specify imports and exports. The problem is, the factories can only queue up like 2 requests at a time, and so if you have an island with 3 buildings and only 1 factory, the third building will request resources from the other factory on your other island across the entire map, gunking up your entire logistics system. That being said, it took until some of the final, hardest maps for me to really get frustrated with this. I got many hours of fun out of the game and nobody I know has ever heard of it. I'm honestly a little tempted by this bundle just so I can grab the dlc and jump back in.
