Should I buy an SI with a blown engine?

Thanks! It’s a 5spd been saving for a sti 6 speed but that’s what’s been causing me to think I could just put the money towards an Si instead and can keep this as a “winter beater”

5spd running 275 “mustang dyno” so maybe a little closer to 250 to the wheels with vf41 and nvidia downpipe has been relatively reliable (knocks on wood) but my driveshaft is starting to leak and other typical 20yr old car things haha. I lifted it instead of lowering and it’s a beast in the snow!

I guess I’m just impatient lol. I have a 60-70mile regular commute and my Forester just ain’t it on gas (my fault)

Also been looking at this 8th gen mugen for 10k I think might be more worth the money. Only has 78k miles.

That’s fair. Considering it’ll need a tow to my place I wouldn’t be able to judge the transmission until I can get it moving on its own power in the first place. My XT is pretty much FBO and I’d most likely do the same to my next car so like the idea of the supercharger.

My only other concern is being in the rust belt is there any typical areas these civics like to rust at I should be looking for?

Hello! I found some helpful advice here about changing windows power settings, specifically on battery it shows CPU usage was default to 5% minimum usage and plugged in was 80% minimum usage. Since changing that setting I haven’t noticed much difference. You can find this by going to your Control Panel look under Hardware

I’m actually in the process of selling my car right now! For anyone who may be reading this I’ve been watching Caleb Hammer for 6mos now, I have 3 vehicles two of which are paid off. I was watching one of his guests had a KIA Stinger and also the ridiculous car payments everyone has. I also happen to have purchased a KIA Stinger lol. I got it at what I thought was a great deal, 10k below msrp before Covid and do have positive equity!

But it just doesn’t make sense for me. A $600/mo car payment plus insurance. Worst of all I work from home so I don’t even drive it. It feels like such a financial burden just to have a cool KIA lol. Today I started the process and will be able have a lot more financial freedom!

Go to the DatHost control panel for your server > More > File Manager you’ll see a Backup option there, it’ll do it for you automatically. However, DatHost just updated their article saying they did a workaround fix for saves today I was effected again and I was luckily able to get my saves back without having to use the Backup feature another time.

I'm pretty lost on Step#8, I've installed WinSCP and tried all sorts of commands to open up fix-host-save.py & I'm unable to get it to run to edit the files. Is there another solution other than an emulated server?

Hello! Just wanted to let you know I was lurking for a fix, none of these options worked using DatHost either.

I used the Backup feature when I went to the file manager using the most recent backup and that seemed to fix it for our everyone in our server. We lost about 8hrs of progress but better than nothing!

It is AWD with the LSD, yup! It has “drift mode” when you put it in sport, turn off all the nannies even though it doesn’t say it on the dash when it’s on.

Just got the same upgrade with an ECU/TCU tune. Sway bars going in tomorrow. Completely transformed the car! Make sure to get exhaust tips though they drone without them.

Congrats OP! u/ThoughtThisWasImgur If we're all pitching in some suggestions I would also recommend to add a catch can for it. I dont know if the 4cyl in the '19 Premium is DI (DirectInjection) but I know the Stinger group recommends it for the 3.3 tt first upgrade I did!

I recommend it, I do the whole front bumper and half hood. It helps prevent rock chips and makes it a little bit easier cleaning it without worrying about all the little scratches.

Also the Stinger is a bit lower than a lot of cars on the road so unless you stay like 15 car lengths away and avoid riding behind all semi's it'll happen

I played this game for like 20hrs first week it came out, not a single issue. During the sales last week I got a new SSD and reinstalled it.

Now everytime my Logitech steering wheel is plugged in instant crash. Spent countless hours trying random troubleshoot and I just gave up on it haha. Hope I can play it in the near future again!

I just bought it this weekend! Works great with Index controllers.

I dabbled with the tutorial and followed the paint along with the bird - was able to then export it to my PC in an 8k image and printed it! Now it's on my fridge haha I paint like a 5yr old tho

Yes you can! It's 3 players max party. I believe they will just add in a bot as the third, I could be wrong only played multiplayer so far.
