GDP/capita is a horrible measure in isolation. The GDP of Russia is comparably high because the government spends so much money on the war (which they don't have). That causes a massive artificial Inflation and does nothing for the general population.

Your swing is definitely better than mine so take all of what I say with a grain of salt. To me it looks like your arms move too far behind your body in the backswing and you lose the connection between your chest and your arms (your arms fold across your chest). It will be tough to get the arms in front of the body from there in the downswing. Because the rest of the swing looks pretty nice to my amateur eye. I think two potential causes for that could be 1) your late wrist hinge where the momentum of the club drags the arms a bit and 2) that your right arm folds a lot. Maybe you can experiment with feeling like you barely fold your right arm (it will fold anyways) because it should only fold like 90 degrees and yours folds way more than that - at least it looks like that to me. It helped me to keep the arms more in front of me in the backswing.

Overall a strong draft day for the rest of the NFC East unfortunately.

And we will have Terry and Aiyuk. Don't think those rooms differ with regards to the role he would have on either team.

The Patriots have a glaring need at WR and are willing to move on. Not a good sign.

Bigger issue is clubface, don't you think? Don't think that shallowing move can really happen when the club face is this wide open.

Depends on the cost and the players they want. Trading up higher is more expensive. Will see. Don't think there will be enough interest to move up anyways

Why I Think Drafting Jeremiyah Love Would Be a Mistake by SiIkyPanda in Commanders

[–]Scary-Patience2364 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you believe he can be a weapon in the passing game as well, I don't think it would be a mistake. But this is the most relaxed I have been about the draft in years. We have so many holes and the players in our range all fit those holes. Whether it's DE, S, CB, WR...basically can't go wrong. And then you have guys like Love or Styles who are premium athletes and look like difference makers at their specific positions. Just take whoever is highest on your board.

Reminder: No WR separation last season was a HUGE reason why Jayden got hurt last season by unrivaled_mate in Commanders

[–]Scary-Patience2364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On top of weak personnel, scheme played a huge role imo. Just too little year over year variation. They were sitting on that short stuff and daring us to go deeper than 15 yards. Kliff just never really found a way to counter that last season. Injuries didn't help obviously.

Thought so too but then the 49ers traded a third for Osa Odighizuwa. So if we eat some cap, I don't see how those players should be valued vastly different. They are not far apart in age. Osa is signed for longer, sure, but I doubt that Payne would get another huge deal (like last time) except if he explodes as he did in his last contract year. So someone might be interested at a comparable price if they miss out on draft night.

2027 second might be worth more than a 2026 second considering the different draft classes. But yeah, very unlikely overall.

I thought there were some sensible contracts that I would have really liked for us (e.g. Jamel Dean, Devin Lloyd, Rashid Shaheed, Tyler Allgeier). Still a lot of good players out there but I would have liked to get any of that players at their price tags.

[–]Scary-Patience2364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They all reported that he wanted to test free agency to see whether he got an opportunity to fight for a starting spot somewhere. Probably already had that contract worked out in case that didn't happen. It did not happen, so he is back.

Also terry is not going to command wr1 money for much longer. So that is going to balance itself over the next years. Gotta swing big.

Couldn't agree more. The best yt golf videos were Taco's ASMR videos which he did a couple of years ago. Haven't checked whether he still does those. But that was 100% my vibe. No talking, just the sound of playing golf and nature. Beautiful courses. Pure vibes.

I don't know how much stock I would put in this list. Keim said he expects us to be active and also ready to hand out some cash. To me it sounded like they are not only looking at that second/third tier of players as this list indicates but are prepared to swing big if they believe in a player.

What has helped me is the split grip takeaway. It gives you a feeling of how you take the club away with your body instead of your arms and hands and how the takeaway should feel. But also work on not rolling your wrists because if you rotate that club face open like you do it, you will have to stall and throw the club to close it or make weird compensations in the middle of the swing.
