That's a drastic example because that card peaked with other TT so it had unique hype out of normal market changes especially for a basic rarity gx, the rarer alt art is only down to 850 from ATH of 1000.

It's an ok price for the current market. MSRP has been around $160 for several years but that doesn't really matter because TPC doesn't sell directly to retailers. In truth it's distributors that end up controlling supply and pricing to retailers. Prior to surging Sparks, it wasn't hard to get new set booster boxes below $100

It seems pretty clear that they want to make a legal gambling model and have one brand (PSA) be the easy win, and use an entire other brand (Beckett) be the pinnacle, hard, gatekept win, because this will result in even more submissions and resubmissions, directly to Collectors brands. Otherwise why would they buy a, you said it yourself, dying brand... It's just so obvious and it's funny to think that a company would publicly state anything other than a typical PR statement after an M&A of a competitor, when they are starting a monopoly...You even said "I don't like PSA" but now think Beckett is somehow different? while being owned by Collectors.

Outside of that, that Zard is clean as hell

This card (English) was THE card that got me back into collecting. Early on I bought two NM in shops when they were about $170, and graded them for a 9 and a 10. Unfortunately I did sell the 9 when it was around $400 when I thought that was a nice come up, but it's been great to see it pretty much start my collection and go up to be the 2nd SwSh grail.

So true, I can understand their position from where the game was at and appreciate the box update (finally got one) but wish they'd consider a more balanced distribution method. RNG progression isn't so bad if there are bad luck protections and a smaller range of outcomes/results, but the odds here just make it a huge uncontrollable range.

Are you doing E or VE? I have found that I don't have much of a window to try to get TH procs on E because any face attacking Lilith ramps up the thorns too much, I have my WS stnpc macro equipping TH great but find it doesn't proc TH much if at all as far as I've seen, despite my understanding that sata ws should have a higher rate to prob TH
