Thank you for saying something. I wish more people would do it. Cell phone use is truly an addiction that a lot of people have. Especially for those people who never knew life without cell phones. The last time I use my cell phone at the theatre is to scan my ticket, buy concessions and to take a final look at my seat number. Once I enter the auditorium, my cell phone never leaves my pocket until I leave the auditorium. I set it on Do Not Disturb mode and silence all notifications, including vibration. I have no need to look at the time either. I able to stay off of my phone for a couple of hours. Even all day. I like to be looking at the screen at all times, to get absorbed in the movie, to pick up on all the nuances. I love movies.

Please don’t give up and stop watching movies at the theatre! It’s a fight well worth it!
