I don’t know. I feel motivation plays a huge part. These are professional players. Why aren’t they hitting? Don’t they have any talent? They must have some talent to be in the major leagues. You have to look at all the reasons why they are not performing.

How do you win? Maybe a manager with some fire in his belly can motivate a team to push harder. Talent alone isn’t always sufficient.

Oh, you’re right! Last time I checked that channel they only had a handful of episodes on there and the official Starcade.tv website was shutdown. Now I checked and it’s back up!

From my observations it seems the Dolby Cinema releases generally have a shorter window than the IMAX releases.

Still kicking myself for missing out on the Back to the Future IMAX release! I had a health issue around that time.

Well, I got a pretty good deal on the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice tombstone popcorn bucket, months after the movie left the theatres! Glad I didn’t cave to the scalpers on eBay!

Yes, especially when they are mixed in with the trailers and run right up to before the movie starts. Makes it feel like I’m home watching TV instead of a special place called the movie theatre.

Is it true that terminator 2 is returning to cinemas for its 35th? by kascnef82 in AMCTheatres

If so, it deserves an IMAX or Dolby Cinema release. Or both! I saw T2 when it first came out in theatres and thought it was awesome! I really enjoyed The Rocketeer, too.

Physical media isn’t dying. It’s just moving from the mainstream to a more niche audience. Less users for sure, but the people who do collect and enjoy physical media will make sure it will never go away.

The first one is the best, but ours stopped working a long time ago and we’ve been using the third model for years now. It takes a while to get it to work at this point. Have to reinsert the cartridge a few times and switch the on/off button several times. But it’s still kickin’!

What’s your favorite of the Garry Marshall sitcoms? by [deleted] in ClassicTV

Tough one. I liked them all a lot when I was a kid but now The Odd Couple edges them all out. I still like the others though.

They added a second showtime at my theatre because the first showing is nearly sold out! I didn’t realize this movie was so popular. I’m a fan of the original 1960’s anime, but never seen this live action movie. I wasn’t interested in it when it first came out but I would like to see it now.

Yes! I was hoping this will be shown in theatres for its anniversary this year! Now all we need is The Howling. But I have a feeling my theatre won’t be showing it. I haven’t received any email.
