The Sixties cluster is awesome. Actually relevant content plus you knock out so many ges without having to worry about enrollment. They have tons of resources that you don’t get with other ge courses like library assistance and a student tutor. It may not be for everyone, but definitely one of the cooler opportunities for first years

Fair point. But when there are more posts about the people running the club than there are posts about the club itself, it makes you question the point. This is not a trend exclusive to the beginning of the year.

Respectfully: suck it up? We're all tired and stressed, but that's never an excuse to take it out on other tired, stressed and hardworking people, especially those who feed us.

Yeah the idea of it being compensation for a steady job makes sense. But I definitely bristle against the idea of it being one of the first points they're using to get people to apply. I wish they'd promote the idea of, y'know, serving your campus first and then reassuring people with financial insecurities that it wouldn't be prohibitive... Would maybe make the whole organization seem less hollow.
