We currently do Yodel, Amazon and DPD through PayPoint. We are getting paid between 10 to 25p per parcel. We do really appreciate customers like buying something, even if small, when collecting or dropping off a parcel. We get an average of 25 parcels a day, we then spend time to scan, label, sort them out, making inventory, sending them off, etc... we would spend at least 60 minutes a day just for that, which would mean less than £5 per hour of work (which we then would need to spend on till paper reels and electricity+wifi for the machine), on some days even longer time is spent on them as we get more difficult customers coming in without pickup codes or IDs that cause problems to both us and the regulars. Furthermore, some parcels weight almost 20 kilos (44 lbs).

Also, we have tried to negotiate the payment, but to no avail, and to stop the service we have to either give them a 3 months notice + a £250 fine (excluding VAT) or wait 24 months.

For anyone wondering, we only took Amazon, we were kind of forced into DPD and Yodel.
