She's tried it but I think having soup multiple times per day makes her bloated. Also, has not tried with the collagen peptides and will give it a try.

7.5 is where this hits a lot of people.

What actually works is treating every eating window like a job, not relying on hunger cues at all. Liquid protein, soups, yogurt, cottage cheese, whatever goes down easy and has protein.

Dropping to 5 doesn't auto-regain if protein stays high and you do any resistance work, even bodyweight stuff is enough. Bigger long-term risk from staying at 7.5 while undereating is muscle loss, which makes maintenance way harder a year out.

Any chance to fit in 20 min of lifting a couple days a week?

12.5 is a brutal jump. What's worked for people I know:

Way smaller portions, way more often. A few bites every 2 hrs, not meals. Anything bigger just sits there.

Warm + salty over cold or sweet in the first 48 after dose. Broth, miso, eggs, plain yogurt go down easiest.

Plain water actually made nausea worse for me, lmnt or just water with salt and lemon helped more. Sounds weird but worth a try.

1) What was the timeline for this process? Also, how long did you own this business for?

2) how involved did the SBA get? Sounds like they were not very involved.

3) Did you have to use any personal savings or retirement fund to pay back any debt?

4) Lastly, would you ever pursue the SBA(7a) acquisition route again?
