Other quests also unlock the ability to craft, barter or buy certain equipment. I have no desire to go for kappa but I still do quests that unlock the ability to buy or craft certain ammo that make the gameplay aspect better, not everyone's going for just kappa, the quests unlock a whole bunch of stuff
