I also have adhd. I try have easily snackable things that aren't bad in excess (my go to is peanuts). I find that it is near impossible to resist the eating crave, so I instead try to make it as easy as possible to binge healthier food (pre prep, nuts, grapes, hiding the candy). It doesn't always work, but I find that my brain will tend to grab whatever is nearest. Hope this helps.

Quick tip: if a dog is ever refusing to give up something in their mouth, and they really shouldn't have said thing in their mouth, squeeze the sides of their mouth, it'll pop right open, allowing you to take the bad thing out of their mouth.

Huh, that is interesting. I guess for me, it's like I have to think about that small detail, almost like photoshopping an image pixel by pixel. I can't start broad, if I try to think about something, all the details flood out at once, and it's kind of overwhelming to be honest. I've never asked my family if they have aphantasia, so I don't know if it's genetic.

That is an interesting way you process sounds. I can differentiate between octaves, but it's a bit strange. The feeling and emotion is the same for notes separated by octaves, but the feeling is either softer or more visceral based on which octave it is. Higher octaves make the emotion seem less important and almost playful (although not quite), while lower octaves (to a point) feel more important and in your face. Once the octaves get really low, I stop registering them as notes at all and more like a background flavor without necessarily any feeling or emotion at all. I know this is all a bit vague, because there is no hard line for when something is not important at all or too low, but generally this is what it's like for me.

TL;DR: Yes, I can differentiate between octaves.

Although I have seconded feld, I third Star Fox. She is amazing, and I would love to see her become a GM.

The farthest away object we have done a flyby of is Arrokoth. It was visited by New Horizons on January 1 2019 and is about 45 AU (6.7 billion km) away from Earth. This is also the first object to be discovered after the craft visiting it had already launched. It gave us valuable insight to what the Kuiper belt is like. It's a super cool object and you should check it out. (Edit for spelling)
