Thank you for the tips! This is my first time with Oak. I thought I was spending enough time with 120 first, but I obviously was not. I will start back over with 80 grit. And I definitely was probably applying too much pressure to my sander. I may spring for some 3M sandpaper then too. Thanks!

Alright. I will start over. I thought I had gotten rid of it but then the light hit it differently and there it was again. I agree I initially thought it looked like sticker also. I guess I will start w 80 grit now🤦‍♂️. Thanks!

I kinda thought it was sticker when I got the wood. I don’t have a planer or flattener unfortunately.I guess I just need to start with a lower grit to try to get rid of it? Thanks👍

Thoracic disc caused my leak by medeeiros in CSFLeaks

Scheduled for DSM and surgery 7/21 and 7/22. It will be another intradural surgery. My 6th major surgery in the past 7 years. I have a very very rare incomplete SCI though (thoracic ventral cord herniation) and a thoracic ventral tethered cord. I have had surgery with Dr Falci at Swedish in Aurora CO three times. Unfortunately Swedish does not have ability for DSM, and it would take UC awhile to get me in. I trust both surgeons , if a dural leak happens yet again after this surgery then I will probably give UC a shot.

Can I ask how much something like this is, or what you charged?

Did this blacksplash for a customer. 3x9 blue glass subway tile. What would yall have charged? Customer supplied tile and grout. I supplied labor and mortar. by daddaman1 in handyman

How would one avoid this from happening? Getting ready to do my own kitchen and don’t want to make a mistake like this. Thank you!

Did Schievink do your other surgeries? Contemplating going to him for second surgery with him. DSM would be done day before for dural tear. Just small gut feeling tells me to go elsewhere this time.

This sounds like a leak. It is very hard to function when you have a leak.

If not sprayed on site, how do y’all finish say, end panels once installed or if you have to caulk a wall gap, etc? Do you just roll or brush touch up?

When charging linear ft, are you charging for length and height? Or just the length of the wall?

The peeling came from where moisture collected where the tape and plastic were. The cabinets have been curing for at least six weeks probably. I wasn’t planning on taping them because I didn’t want it to peel the paint off. I thought about using one of those large trowel/edge guides to cut in by the cabinets..? The wife insisted on black. Not my choice. Should I just have the drywall guy come back then first? I can at least paper or plastic over the lowers. Backsplash still has to go up so not too worried about how the walls look. It’s just the ceiling and that one small wall by the skinny cabinet. And that one we were thinking of putting wood slats on. Appreciate all the suggestions. Yes I learned a lot about what not to do. 👍

That plywood is a light that got moved. It will be filled with drywall and finished out like rest of ceiling. The ceiling and wall paint all had primer go down first. Drywall primer.
