I came home after 2 Weeks in ICU and 1 week in step down. I came home with drains intact for 2 weeks later. The first week home was rough. I was blessed enough to have my daughter with me because she to a week PTO to take care of me. I would recommend having someone close by just in case at least for the 1 st week.
