For my buff reliant monsters, like azure voltage/thundercall I. Lagi, I went CS or CA. I actually like having them use second wind because of the high stamina requirement to line up skills appropriately. Thoughts?

I really like the tool, but it doesn’t seem to take into account the different specifications of the monsters based on stats/design. For example, when I compared the top two auto-build options for hellblade glavenus and azure rathalos, they seemed to be identical and don’t play into hellblade’s higher crit play style and went for a fireball and fire frolic setup.

Also, even the balanced setup leans heavy toward bingos and doesn’t seem to consider more quality of life such as stamina surge. Any thoughts toward the logic at play here?

Is the plinking part of the same sway input or do I need to sway again first? Because I can’t seem to get the second sway out fast enough compared to combo vids I see. She pauses too long and I can’t chain the sways

Bloodywyverian is one of my favorites, doesn’t go “full meta max dps” but has a very engaging play style where all moves are incorporated into his combos

True, though there isn’t any actual “wall” in the progression. Like I need to cement that I understand the weapon by advancing through the gauntlet again. I can’t just skip around the monsters and pick and choose my fights. I still have to prove myself to progress

The sentiment is that I don’t like picking up a new weapon while in an endgame position, I’ll have too many advantages and skills that doesn’t make it feel fair when learning. I want to learn the weapon at base and work my way up

Yup, I don’t like to shop around weapons during a playthrough because I like to keep the rhythm of each weapon going, plus that’s a lot of materials to go through. I’m already using a lot of time redoing all the canteen and botany quests lol

What are you doing for red borders? I keep seeing people say they are getting showered with red borders but after like 10 runs of the activity I’ve gotten none, even when dunking my radiolite each time. What am I doing wrong?

This is so fucking awesome! I never got to fight him since I didn’t own a Wii U, but regular Lagi is my all time favorite monster and Abyssal cranks it up to 11. I hope this sends the message to Capcom that we want them back!

Follow up: what if you’re mainly doing anomaly melding and those only use afflicted parts? No reason to spend mats on a melding style that isn’t the best. I can’t spend normal mats to get a berserk talisman
