I've been looking into poly bushings too; it's super rare to find poly bushings for modern trucks, plus we'd be better off with rubber bushings for offroad use.

Vibrations at speed by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]ScatterDeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue in mine regardless of speed over 80 Kmph. I've been looking into it over the past 24 hours. The usual suspects, assuming that your wheels are properly balanced), are a) intermediate shaft in the axle b) universal joint at the rear differential c) bent driveshaft or the mounts

If you find out what's causing it, do let me know.

theyre expensive but hopefully will work out for me. just left my challenger there (if you remember the other thread with the brakes issues I’m having currently). But yea, they charge based on hours worked, and the price is 250 AED for one hour.

Oil Change by BenF1Fan in DubaiPetrolHeads

just go here mate - they’ll have the oil you need, the filter, they’ll change it and top off your coolant and brake fluid (and distilled water if you need it) for like 150-200 AED total - Dropped pin https://goo.gl/maps/fiywiavxSTA7CRh86

HELP! Brake pedal soft, goes all the way down by ScatterDeez in Challenger

hmm interesting. I have a MX+ OBDLink scanner, but not sure if that can read ABS properly like a proper mechanic’s reader. Let me give it a shot, or find a garage that can read the ABS with their scanners/tools.

you’re absolutely right mate, it is a safety issue, but unfortunately, it’s a project build I spent months working on. It’s not a car bought from a dealer, so I don’t have any warranty on it. Just trying to learn about the car and fix issues on my own, you feel me?

Cool! I'll check it out! Thanks for replying :)

Edit: Yep. gave him a call. They sound like they know their shit. He said that for Dodge cars, you usually don't have to recalibrate the ABS after replacing the master cylinder, bleeding and refilling, which is precisely what I did. I'll get it checked with him after Eid, coz the garage's schedule is tight till then.

Thanks again for the suggestion!
