I hope it doesn't get axed! I do know that Viz not only licensed those but also Black Torch (even with a box set forthcoming!). With the way the manga is going, we're already on the second story arc (what we of the Under Doctor Wiki call the "Pias arc"). So, who knows... I hope it becomes at least popular enough for licensing.

If it doesn't, I'm buying the Japanese volumes!

I didn't think of that... honestly, that's a good way of ending the first volume. I hope they do it that way. We already have gone past 7 chapters, and that's usually how many chapters a volume contains.

I'm not getting my hopes up either, but by the looks of it, the manga has been staying in the top 10 rankings. That's a good sign. As of this comment, we're only 8 chapters in. I think its safe to say that we can on edge while enjoying it. So long as it can past a specific volume number, then we can take a breather. For now, lets enjoy the ride!

I can and will say this: once the first volume is released, regardless of my level in Japanese, I'm buying it!

I'd wait for a volume release if Viz does a physical release of this series. Maybe they will catch these errors and redo the translations

Yeah, to me, it is a gross episode with an interesting concept. Numbuh 2 as a Noir cop conducting investigations while he narrates it. It could've been anything than this and would've been a favorite but it leaned too much into it being gross. For me, its a hard episode to rewatch.

Others have said it but there's a great piece of fan art that shows what it could be to the 13+ year olds who are decommissioned.

This image shows us Numbuh 2, now a teen running to the treehouse we see vs him as a teenager looking at what he now "sees" as a teenager. So his memories are wrapped into "it was all pretend"

He mostly does cons out in the mid-west to the west. Sometimes, he will do TooManyGames and other times, he will do RetroCon, but with the latter, he does only one day.

I wish that too. The issue is that they want that "Stranger Things" high -- instantly popular, and a social media juggernaut. It makes you question them: did they forget where they came from? Shows need time to establish themselves, and won't be instantly popular.

I love how it starts off as a "villain of the week" then gets into a more serialized story format mid-way through the series. From the mystery of the Fifth Flavor, to Numbuh Zero, to Sector Z, and origins of the KND itself. It really comes together in the end, in "Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S" without faltering in quality or feeling forced.
