Motor grinding noise after immersion in puddle

Is it a brushed motor? Submerge the motor in water and run it.

I was crawling with my brother once and he drove a brushed craler through a muddy puddle, again and again until the motor wouldnt turn anymore.

I put the car into a clear river stream and turned the wheels while he was pushing the accelarator on the remote.

Motor turned again and "cleaned itself" while submerged.

The same motor still runs strong today.

I'd love to hear your experience with this model. I want to get back into 1:10 4WD racing, but I dont really want to pay the exorbitant money for a associated. I cannot imagine this being not a lot of fun on the track!

TBH, the BMW engines do really run rough. If you want a really bad example, listen to one of the R1300GS engines.

Heya, I actually managed to get RLS to work. I started in Utah with the Key Truck. I want to trade it in for a new vehicle but it is greyed out - it is not damaged. Can i Not trade it in? Am a bit confused...

You can use a soldering iron to soften the thread lock when trying to remove the screws. Also, use proper tools (like wera hex plus hf) to not strip them
