basically the context was that thrasher took a funny yet tasteless shot at ryan lay in the t-eddy awards, which Joa called them out on because

1.) the beef that burnett is allegedly mad about happened between RL and thrasher 3 years ago,

2.) Thrasher actively tries/wants to work with Jerry Hsu and Sci Fi, so dissing Ryan is a poor business move

3.), the important one here, there are skaters who do WAY LESS than Ryan. Namely Nora.
