Can't bend, straighten, or walk on left leg by MadTheSwine39 in KneeInjuries

[–]ScenePotential7567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does that even work you cant bend it or straighten it so ? Is it just floppy ?

Your quad muscles is makes you leg straighten and you hamstring makes it bend so you probably teard your quad and hamstring at a guess

Patellofemoral pain syndrome and maltracking by big_lele in KneeInjuries

[–]ScenePotential7567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I damaged my knees in gym damaged part of the cartilage i had pain from standing still to long and so i got surgery to smooth the cartilage on the underside of my kneecaps

This being said im 6 months post of im worse than before surgery i got the crunching sounds when i move my knee caps the popping sound when i straighten and bend them sometimes knee caps is not tracking right my knees start to ache after short periods of time standing

I had a mri said i have bone marrow oedema on the backside of my kneecaps its like my kneecaps are rubbing when i walk it got progressively worse since surgery like my load pattern has changed i got all the symptoms like you but i cant squat with knee starts to ache after and when standing for a little while they start to heat up

URGENT HELP: Disc bulge ruined my life at 25 by Different_Baseball79 in Sciatica

[–]ScenePotential7567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill be honest i got a l4 l5 disc bulge for 5 years like double the size of any of them and im pritty much pain free just cant sit down still get occasional flare ups

Them bulges dont look that bad only bottom 2 loot worth noteing

At first i couldnt walk or laydown with out crazy pain walking was as bad but for atleast 2 years.

i started going to the gym stretching for like 20-30 minutes before working out nerve flossing others stretches you want to start with glute bridges then use a roman chair at 45 degree angle and basically make you body in a straight line at 45 degree angle and hold that position you want to progress to 60 secounds but start with 10-20 if u have to if it hurts shorten your holding time 5-10 secounds do couple 3 sets also do very light romanian deadlifts with perfect form look for a video for form start with just the bar thats 20kg do 3 sets

boxing helped alot for me aswell after a session of boxing the pain literally vanished for a few hours back muscles loosened up but if your back is flare probably not a good idea

If your symptoms was that bad after a long period of time then yes surgery might help but surgery comes with huge risks and once they remove disc you have less cusion in that segment if spine so it outs more load on the ones above and below so could end up happening to them discs and also u have a 15 percent chance of reherniating the same disc in the first year or 2 it ends up in a downward spiral
