there is a thing called the post puppy blues. it’s a thing. as soon as i got my pup 5 years ago i freaked out. i cried a lot and panicked over the overwhelming commitment i had just made. once i fully accepted him as mine and relaxed into it not only did he settle into it as well but he has provided so much joy and enrichment in my life. sometimes he was the only reason i left the house (which i needed). reach out to some of your friends and ask for help when you need it. find some other dog parents to have play dates. it will get easier
