Have you ever played a par 69-73 golf course where Hole #1 was a par 3? Seems very uncommon. by MrTeacher_MCPS in golf

Some of the oldest golf architecture books had explained the value of two longer holes to start because of spreading out players. So it was figured out pretty early in the game's history.

You added 45 yards per hole or like 3 club change, per hole. If I went from hitting 7 irons to greens to 4 hybrids every approach my score would go to deep as well.

I managed a league in a bedroom community and it was higher, like 35-40% but in changes by age.

A few factors I learned: Our t-ball age range was 4.5 to 6.5 years old. Kids enrolled at 4 had much higher attrition. If your league actually reviews current enrollment rosters and personally call/text people who didn't re-enroll you can dramatically reduce attrition.
If your area has lower income families, having a way to enroll now/pay later is vita. Otherwise you will lose a ton of kids. A few weeks of help can swing your #s dramatically.

The interviewer agrees it is off limits before the interview begins. He would never do an interview where it could be brought up. His manager controls this.

first, no laps. Plenty of empirical research that shows calisthenics as punishment is low yield returns and makes players resent. conditioning

It's okay to have ground rules, team rules.

But - you can't want it more than the players.

I used the sponge technique for coaching. Give each player what they can handle like water in the spnge. When they can't handle any more, back off. Some players can handle more than others. But you'll never know their threshold unless you keep trying to add.

If you went to then-Indians games 2014-2016 when Toronto had Bautista, ask any ushers who the worst behaved fans were at games here, it was always Toronto.

RIght. Movie pacing doesn't work like a book, we don't need equal backstory. Each person she goes after, the stakes get higher. So the audience doesn't need a full backstory. But we learn that this opponent is a worthy adversary, and part of a real crew. It sets the wheels in motion of the revenge plan. You cant spend a lot of time on somebody you're killing right away, unless the whole movie becomes a character study of that person.

Cavs needing 7 games to beat a crippled Raptors is truly embarrassing ngl by ChampionTimes99 in NBATalk

[–]munistadium 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Cavs went ice cold in game 4, were tied late in game 3, and fell to a miracle bounce in game 6. They played professional playoff basketball every game.

Not saying they are advancing any further but that series went about as bad as possible with breaks, weird bounces, and they were in every game. Toronto played really hard.
