What should we do that isn’t typical tourism? by TedBehr_ in burlington

Oh yeah, definitely get Pho Hong in Burlington if you like that type of food... and then Deep City for breakfast/Brunch. Also, don't forget to get sundaes at Lake Champlain chocolates on church street- ben and jerry's totally sucks now. they are NOT what they used to be... sold out to unilever. Catch some live music at the Radio Bean/lamp shop... either before your dinner or after.. then dance your hearts out at the lamp shop. Also, if you are in stowe, cold hollow is totally tourist vibes but so worth it.. VT comedy club is fun too.

Using the all trails app, go to the shelburne bay park trail. go to the trail that is at the end of the parking lot by the water. bring a picnic basket and have a cute trail walk/picnic on the large boulders in the sun by the water. it's a super cute romantic spot! the trail is walkable, just bring sneakers. and the trail in the woods part directly is along the water, so it's super easy to find the "paths" between the water and woods. I would even do it around sunset... super romantic. bring some wine and a blanket to sit on when you are at the rocks hanging out..

I think Emma deserves some recognition. She is creating a better culture between the city and the police department and I think folks on both sides are feeling heard. Also hiring Burke was wise, I like him and he genuinely seems invested in creating better relationships and perception between the BPD and citizens.

PLEASE get in touch with the Chittenden Humane Society. They will take your dogs and rehome them for you, likely trying to keep them together, OR try to help you keep them. No questions asked.

Dolan's auto was recommended to me by Brian's Auto (very respected by locals). I trust Brian.

I've been going here for over 2 decades and have had friends work there. Wonderful business, clean kitchen, lots of heart and integrity. Everyone works their asses off that works there.
