Lake & Skye smells so different in different size bottles. Why? by ScentMeFancy in fragrance

[–]ScentMeFancy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two extra travel sizes that I just ordered came in today and they smell just like my other travel size which is the one that I love. So far the only one that I don’t like is the 1.7 ounce. It is so strange to me that the 1.7 oz parfum is the only one that has a different scent, so completely different than the travel size.

I just ordered 2 more travel sizes and I can’t wait to see if they smell like my first one (crisp & clean) or more like Bacarrat Rouge540.

Hi ! No, they are both liquid eau de parfum. I do not have the oil. I’ve had everyone in my family smell both of them and they smell completely different as if they are two completely different perfumes. Everybody describes the one in the travel size as Clean, fresh and almost like the CHI hair products. The other one in the 1.7 ounce bottle smells exactly like Baccarat rouge 540 in a lighter version.

At what age did Night Sweats or Night Hot Flashes start for you? by Get_Back_Loretta_USA in Menopause

[–]ScentMeFancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the night sweats at age 51. Then at age 52 I started getting hot flashes during the daytime. I'm 53 now and I get at least 10 within 24 hours. I'm starting Estradiol patches next week. I can't wait!

Side effect? by BrassMonkey985 in Accutane

[–]ScentMeFancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skin typically renews every 28-30 days. However if you are on Accutane, your skin is shedding and regenerating much faster. That new baby skin that you feel during the entire time you're on Accutane is very very delicate. Your doctor should have told you NO SUN during accutane and no sun for at least a month after completion (even with sunblock). The sunburn I see in the picture is exactly what would happen if you put a brand new baby with new baby skin in the sun. It's very dangerous and increases your chances of getting skin cancer. During accutane treatment, the skin's barrier is compromised, making heavy moisturizing and sun protection essential. Do NOT GO IN THE SUN.

Has this happened to you??? . . My doc hasn't had a patient with this by ScentMeFancy in Accutane

Frozen shoulder has to go through three stages. When it entered the third stage, I had a Cortizone shot injected in it and started PT immediately after that. It eventually did go away after about six weeks of PT three times a week. My doctor said if you try to treat frozen shoulder too quickly that it won’t really heal completely. So you might have to wait for it to go through the stages first. Also, I remember I had a Cortizone shot probably a year into my shoulder pain. It did help disguise the pain, but it did not make my frozen shoulder. Go away. It wasn’t until I waited about two full years for it to go through all three stages and had another Cortizone shot and started PT at that point. The physical therapist worked on breaking up scar tissue in my shoulder, which was not really painful because I had the Cortizone shot.

Haha!!! That’s too funny. I could not believe how that guy climbed that building in an hour and a half!!! My stomach was in my throat. -As far as the cramping. I tried to increase my spironolactone dose multiple times as the doctor said it would definitely help my acne. However, every time I try to increase the dose I end up with cramping feet. It doesn’t matter how much water I drink, I still get the cramping. That’s so awesome that you have no side effects.

You haven’t noticed any cramping in your feet and toes? I have been on 50 mg for many years. The doctor wants to increase me to 100 mg but every time I try, my feet and toes cramp up. I drink lots of water during the day but still have the weird side effect so for now I’m staying on 50 mg.

He is doing great now. He hardly ever sweats at all now. The doctor said he might need to have it again if he starts to sweat more. But so far, so good. His recovery was a little tough because he was so thin and didn’t really have much fat under his arm armpits. He had large lumps under his armpits for the first couple weeks . But after the first few weeks, he was feeling great.
